Abstract: Analytic pragmatism has, according to Robert Brandom, an expressive power that should make it attractive to any methodological pragmatist. This is due to the fact that it incorporates a commitment to semantic pluralism and metatheoretic pragmatic pluralism. After sketching the apparatus of analytic pragmatism, I discuss some difficulties regarding metatheoretic pragmatic pluralism and I suggest in the end a possible structuralist strategy for arguing in favor of analytic pragmatism that consists in looking for invariant results under metatheoretic pragmatic vocabulary substitution.
