February 1, 2024 by maria

Mihaela Pop

Abstract

In this article we are going to analyze how the medieval political power in the Romanian
provinces made use of the Byzantine influences in order to articulate a certain model of political
leader. We will use for this purpose not only texts but also some other cultural products such as
religious references, examples of churches and holy icons.
