4. Author guidelines

All manuscripts should be formatted in Rich Text Format file (*rtf) or Microsoft Word document (*doc) with 12 pt. font size and double-spaced, in Rich Format Style. Authors should use the author-date system documentation style, as it is presented in The Chicago Manual of Style, 16th edition.

Authors should limit the paper submission to 8000 words, including footnotes and references. Manuscripts will be written in English only. Papers should have an abstract and key words. The authors assume all responsibility for the content and originality of the article published in the journal.

All contributions developing an original research coming from different areas of philosophy are welcome and should be sent by e-mail as attachment. Manuscripts should be submitted to the editor at annals.philosophy@ub-filosofie.ro. Submission implies that the manuscript has not been published elsewhere and that it is not under consideration for publication anywhere else.

Permissions

Authors are encouraged to include figures and tables that have already been published elsewhere only as long as they have permission from the copyright owner(s) for both the print and online format of our journal. We consider each author self-responsible for these aspects; however, we reserve our right to ask authors to include evidence that such permission has been granted when submitting their papers. Any material received without such evidence will be assumed to originate from the authors.

Abstract

Authors are asked to include an abstract of min. 200 words, max. 250 words. Keywords, between 5 and 8 should be included immediately after the abstract. The format used for abstract and keywords is Times New Roman, 10, 1.5.

Footnotes

Only footnotes are accepted, articles including endnotes will be rejected. Footnotes are used exclusively for providing relevant explanations, additional information and openings towards one or multiple references. Do not use footnotes for citations, as they should be included along the text, between parentheses, using the style recommended in the submission protocol.

Acknowledgments

Acknowledgments of people and grants supporting research should be placed at the end of the title page. The names of funding organizations should be written in full, please do not use abbreviations.
