Argumentul lui Berkeley împotriva materialității lumii

February 4, 2024 by user2

CONSTANTIN STOENESCU

Abstract

My aim in this article is to do both a survey and an assessment of Berkeley skeptical argument against the materiality of the word. I suppose that a historical understanding of this argument as a strong critique of Locke’s empiricist theory should be the right approach. In the same time, I take into account Grayling’s recent ideas about the Berkeley’s argument as one for immaterialism and the connection between this argument and his skeptical epistemological attitude.
